History:

  • Shri Jagruti Bahudeshiya Vikash Shikshan Sanstha N.G.O. is a grass-root based voluntary organization registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 since year 2007.
  • It started its work with the objectives to establish a society founded on the value of equality, justice, peace and progress-eliminating poverty, hunger, injustice, ignorance, illiteracy, exploitation and inhumanity.
 

Mission:

  • To educate, advocate and empower the socially and economically marginalized population for a self reliant and sustainable development.
  • To identify and work along the economically and socially deprived, physically and mentally challenged.
 

What we do:

  • The organization has been working about health, education, agriculture, environment and other social issues in Gondia, Bandhra District and Maharashtra, India for the last seven years.
  • It provides basic education to non-school going children and connects them with main-stream education.
  • It organizes women through self-help groups to make them economically self-dependent.
  • It promotes gender equality and women empowerment.
  • It strives to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable livelihood.
