AMARA SABAI\" meaning “WE ALL” is a registered non-profit voluntary organisation established in the year 1970. It is community-based and located in a remote rural area of Kailaspur under Mathurapur-II Block of South 24-Parganas district of West Bengal in India. It is a part of the Sundarbans famous for its wide bio-diversity and flora and fauna (including the Royal Bengal Tigers). The organisation is committed to inclusive development of the society. Who We Are

We a group of youth working voluntarily for the development of our own area.



Amara Sabai” began its journey with the following objectives 1. To serve the weaker section of the community specially the land less peasants and marginal farm families. 2. Impart technical knowledge skill through training and demonstration to increase agricultural productivity. 3. Undertake suitable activities for the welfare of the women and children. 4. Initiate suitable income generating activities for the disadvantaged group of the community. Impart functional skill to the target group specially the young person and women through vocational training programme. 5. Make formal and non-formal education accessible to underprivileged group. 6. Take effective steps to up-grade the health, hygiene and sanitation status of the community people. Make the women members aware on their rights, roles, and responsibility in the society.
