Who we are:

  • A non-govt., non-profit social service organization that has been serving the poor people in the rural as well as urban areas in West Bengal, India.
  • It facilitates post literacy for the literates who cannot continue studies.

    History:

    • CSD was born in the year 1985 and started its activities among poor villages community in two blocks Sewli and Shibdaspur under Barrack pore Sub – division in the District of North 24 – Parganas, West Bengal
       

      Mission:

      Preventive child care in rural & urban areas. Family planning & spacing in rural areas Balwadi (Pre – School Children) Schools in rural and urban area. Non–formal, Post Literacy and Adult Education in rural and urban areas. Development of Street and Working Children in urban area (Kolkata)
       

      What we do:

      We are mainly to build awareness, self – reliance and self – sufficiency at all spheres of life in the poor community people in rural as well as in urban areas. For this purpose however, this organization launched several programmes in some rural and urban areas in West Bengal
