It has been implementing various activities in the field of education for
under privileged children like orphans, destitute children, first generation
learners, slow learners, children from the families of HIV / AIDS, child laborers
and street children.
 

Who we are :

A non-profit, voluntary , non-political organization working for the empowerment of vulnerable community including under privileged women, children, differently abled, PLWHAs, young widows, small farmers/marginal farmers in Tiruvannamalai District. It has been implementing various activities in the field of education for under privileged children like orphans, destitute children, first generation learners, slow learners, children from the families of HIV / AIDS, child laborers and street children.
 

History :

Estd in 1986 by the development of youth in Sadayanodai village. To the secular approach functioning for the empowerment of the needy, marginalized and Dalits over the Past 23 years. SINAM completed 24 years and is entering into its 25th year of service for the development of the needy community.
 

What we do :

  • It creates socio economic health and behavioral awareness and develops their total life / integrated personality.
  • It promotes rural women by the way of offering education, organizing themselves as small groups and skill training with the support of various agencies.
  • It promotes the health status of women, children, adolescents, youth and aged people through organizing various activities including rural health centers, health camps, caring chronic patients and providing palliative care.
  • It provides development/welfare assistance to the rural poor people with the support of Government, Non-Governmental agencies and overseas donor agencies.
 

Mission :

To develop the oppressed and down trodden community through their own full participation and social action programme for the achievement of their livelihood, social security, human rights, gender equity and solidarity for their sustainable development.

  • To implement a 3 days awareness training and refresher training workshop for development of a woman leader Rs.2190/-
  • To facilitate medical help to a victim of domestic violence Rs. 1095/-
  • For a happy bus ride for a disabled child / adult to his special school for a month Rs. 1825/-
  • A poor villager to set up a tea stall Rs. 2920
  • To sponsor computer training for a poor, adolescent girl for 3 months Rs. 450/-
